Strategic acquisition opportunity
Acquire the GodAdvocate platform.
An existing faith-based digital platform — a published iPhone application, a published Android application, a web platform and church dashboard, a secured Postgres backend, and live subscription and giving infrastructure — available to a strategic buyer.

The asset
What a buyer acquires.
Every item below is confirmed in the repository or on the public store records. Nothing is listed that cannot be shown.
The GodAdvocate brand
The name, the wordmark and icon, the visual identity, and the godadvocate.com domain.
The iPhone application
Full source and the published App Store listing (GodAdvocate — Prayer & Verses), currently at version 2.1.
The Android application
Full source and the published Google Play listing (com.godadvocate.app), built from the same codebase.
The web platform
The marketing site, the church admin dashboard, the giving flow, and the digital connection card.
The backend
The Postgres schema, 48 row-level security policies, 12 migrations, and the API layer.
Monetisation infrastructure
The live in-app purchase products, the RevenueCat entitlement configuration, and the Stripe Connect giving integration.
The content library
276 written pieces of devotional, teaching and scripture content, plus the four-language translation set.
Store assets
Screenshots, feature graphics, icons and the approved listing copy for both stores.
Buy or build
Why not build it from scratch?
A capable team could build this. The question is what the eighteen months and the store-approval cycles are worth against acquiring something already through them.
The build is already behind you
17,724 lines of hand-written source across a web platform, two published apps and a secured database. Reproducing this from an empty repository is a multi-quarter programme before a single user sees anything.
Both stores are already cleared
App Review and Play Review are approved and shipped — version 2.1 is live. The account setup, review cycles, privacy declarations and rejections are done, and they are the part nobody budgets for.
Monetisation is wired, not sketched
Auto-renewing in-app purchases are configured in both stores with a cross-platform entitlement layer, and Stripe Connect giving is built end to end. Turning revenue on is a distribution problem, not an engineering one.
A finished brand, not a concept
Name, mark, visual identity, domain, store listings, screenshots and approved copy already exist and hang together. A buyer inherits a product with a point of view rather than a naming exercise.
A content library that ships with it
276 written devotionals, studies, plans, quizzes and stories, plus 427 interface strings in four languages. Commissioning that volume of original faith content is its own project.
A foundation, not a finished ceiling
The architecture was written to be handed over — typed throughout, one mobile codebase for both platforms, row-level security by default. A buyer’s team can extend it rather than working around it.
Current status
What is finished, and what is not.
A buyer will find all of this within an afternoon of diligence, so it is stated here first. The opportunity is the built platform and the brand — not a book of business.
iPhone & Android apps
Live
Both are published and downloadable today. iOS version 2.1 shipped 27 July 2026.
Web platform
Live
The marketing site, the church admin dashboard and the giving flow are deployed and running.
Subscription infrastructure
Live
GodAdvocate Plus is on sale in both stores at $4.99 monthly and $39.99 yearly, entitled through RevenueCat.
Revenue
Not yet
Pre-revenue. The platform has not been marketed. No revenue, subscriber or download figures are claimed anywhere on this site.
Users & organisations
Not yet
No established user base and no church or ministry partnerships. The apps carry no store ratings yet.
Church giving
Needs configuration
Stripe Connect onboarding is built end to end. It needs live Stripe keys and a connected account per church.
AI-assisted comfort & questions
Needs configuration
The Claude integration is written and working. Production currently runs the curated fallback library because no API key is configured, so the feature answers from vetted content rather than a model.
Church subscription plans
Not yet
The Growth and Community tiers are priced but have no billing implementation. Church accounts are free today.
Automated tests
Not yet
The repository has no test suite. TypeScript strict mode and production builds are the only automated checks.
Store listing localisation
Needs configuration
The app interface is fully translated into four languages, but both store listings are published in English only.
Status and all figures on this page measured August 2026 from the repository and the public store records.

Known engineering gaps
The repository carries no automated test suite; TypeScript strict mode and clean production builds are the only automated checks today. Database migrations are applied manually rather than through a linked CLI. Both are ordinary work for an acquiring team, and both are disclosed here rather than discovered later.
Fit
Who could take GodAdvocate further?
The platform’s one missing ingredient is reach. These are the kinds of organisations that already have it.
Churches & church networks
An organisation with congregations already gathered — the distribution this platform is missing, matched to a product built for exactly that use.
Ministries
A direct, owned channel to followers through daily content, push and giving, instead of renting attention from social platforms.
Christian media companies
A daily-habit mobile surface to bring an existing audience and content catalogue into, with subscription infrastructure already attached.
Faith-based technology companies
A consumer product to add to an existing portfolio, sharing one React Native codebase across both mobile platforms.
Publishers
A digital distribution surface for devotional and study material that is already structured as data in the codebase.
Strategic acquirers & investors
A complete consumer platform with the technical and store-approval risk already retired, priced as an asset rather than a round.
